Ostrzenski & Stricklin, P.A. is a small firm which advocates the prompt and equitable resolution of matters for their clients. Since we are a small law firm, we can offer much more personalized service than many of the larger firms, which makes for better representation and more favorable resolution. Our attorneys strive to be available to you and for you, unlike larger firms. Additionally, the client can rest assured that only qualified personnel will be handling their matters.

Meet The Attorneys

Bartosz A. Ostrzenski

Bartosz A. Ostrzenski was born in Warsaw, Poland and immigrated to the United States in 1978 and grew up in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., where he attended Winston Churchill High School in Potomac, Maryland. His mother was an attorney and judge in Poland and continued her legal pursuit and became an attorney in Washington, D.C. Mr. Ostrzenski followed in his mother’s footsteps and went on to attend Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts where he minored in Political Science and Majored in Criminal Justice. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University, he moved to Florida in order to attend Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law School. In addition to attending law school, Mr. Ostrzenski was the editor-in-chief of Broadly Speaking, the Shepard Broad Law Center student run newspaper. Bartosz Ostrzenski received his Juris Doctorate in 2002.

Mr. Ostrzenski’s professional experience began as a law clerk at Murray, Simmons & Zeigler, a real estate and commercial litigation firm in Fort Lauderdale. He then moved on to Schwartz, Zweben & Associates as an associate attorney, primarily focused in federal litigation, prosecuting Civil Rights violations on behalf of disabled individuals. In January of 2004, Bart Ostrzenski co-founded Ostrzenski & Stricklin, P.A. with his then future wife, Jaime Stricklin. Mr. Ostrzenski was on the Board of Directors of the Broward County Bar Association, Young Lawyers Section between 2006 and 2012, and was the 2011-2012 President.

Bart Ostrzenski is licensed to practice law in the state of Florida, and is admitted to practice in the Northern, Middle and Southern Federal District Courts in Florida in addition the Southern and Middle District Bankruptcy Court.

Jaime A. Stricklin, Esq.

Jaime, a partner with the firm, received her Juris Doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center in 2002 and her Bachelor of Science degree (with honors) from the University of Florida in 1999. Jaime was admitted as a member to the Florida Bar in 2002.

Jaime concentrates her practice in all areas of real estate law, including representing the Buyer, Seller, or Lender in all stages of real estate transactions, commercial and residential lease transactions, and the issuance of title insurance policies. She has assisted hundreds of homeowners facing foreclosure, by providing foreclosure defense and obtaining loan modifications and short sale approvals. Jaime also has extensive experience in condominium and homeowner association law, bankruptcy, and commercial litigation matters.

Jaime is also an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Miami’s Division of Continuing and International Education.

Jaime is a member of the Real Property, Trust and Probate Section of the Florida Bar and the Young Lawyer’s Division.
